SOUTHERN STRAWBERRY PUNCH BOWL CAKE

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 2 packages of instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 cups of milk
  • 1 container of whipped topping
  • 1 pound of fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup of water
Baking the Cake
  1. Prepare the yellow cake mix according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Bake the cake in a 9×13-inch pan according to the package instructions.
  3. Allow the cake to cool completely before proceeding to the next step.
Preparing the Pudding
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth and creamy.
  2. Refrigerate the pudding mixture for 5-10 minutes to allow it to set.
Assembling the Cake
  1. Using a fork, poke holes all over the cooled cake.
  2. Pour the pudding mixture over the cake, making sure to fill the holes and cover the entire surface.
  3. Layer the sliced strawberries on top of the pudding layer.
